Queen Sheba is has taken on a full time comedy career in addition to
Spoken Word, making bow-ties and had just recently laid to rest a bed
and breakfast in both Atlanta and Charlotte.
Her first collection of poetry and short stories: From Foster Care to
fame has garnered national attention from literary and academia
platforms.
In addition to two NAACP Image Award nominations, Sheba has 4 music
videos, now 7 albums including SHEBATAR: A Decade of Live Performances
& Domino Affect; both considered for a 2010& 2009 Grammy! under the
Spoken Word category; available out of the trunk (or ventige bag),
iTunes, stores nationwide and your local mom & pop.
Seen in/on: 106 & Park, VH-1, The Apollo, Spoken, Spit! A feature
length film about Spoken Word and any bootleg late-night cable

Anthology Home Girls Make Some Noise and most recently her
collaborative work on Verses & Flow Season 2.
In addition she has been published in, S. Florida University Urban
Griot (Gree-O), Portfolio Magazine, The Syracuse University Women in
Hip-Hop, National Featured Poet for Rolling Out magazine. Key Note
Speaker for: Several Take Back the Night campus vigils, Domestic
Violence, AIDS awareness for young adults and the National Women in
Hip-Hop conference.
Toured in over 8 countries (9-including Alaska :-): West Africa,
Europe, Cuba, Canada and any coffee house to coliseum in the US .
Co-founder of Rough Language Music and Poetry series. Member of: Face
Book!, The Atlanta Poets Union, Mothers Against the War, Fair Trade
and National Association for Women. She currently runs the Rough
Language poetry slam & live music series and the famous 4th Sundays
open mic poetry readings in Atlanta, GA.
